But inside, you will find a completely different atmosphere, as the hotel rooms have been given a new look with the products of Nikari and Woodnotes. ..Ulkoapäin ei välttämättä arvaisi, että rakennuksen sisältä löytyy skandinaavisen harmonisia, luonnonmateriaaleilla sisustettuja huoneita: Lappee-hotelli sijaitsee Lappeenrannan keskustassa ostoskeskuksen yläkerrassa ja rakennuksen julkisivua värittävät kauppojen mainoskyltit. Sisällä on kuitenkin toisenlainen tunnelma, sillä hotellin huoneet ovat saaneet uuden ilmeen Nikarin ja Woodnotesin tuotteilla.

The project was exceptionally thorough and, for the first time, the products of Woodnotes and Nikari had a chance to live side by side on such a large scale in Finland: about 150 rooms in total were redesigned. The designer of the project understood the potential of both brands in commercial spaces. The paper yarn products of Woodnotes have been used in public spaces before, and the opportunities are endless. “Paper yarn can withstand this kind of use well. Each Woodnotes product is made according to high quality standards in Lapua.” ..Projekti oli poikkeuksellisen kokonaisvaltainen, ja ensimmäistä kertaa Woodnotesin ja Nikarin tuotteet pääsivät elämään rinnakkain näin suuressa mittakaavassa Suomessa: uudistettuja huoneita oli yhteensä noin 150. Projektin suunnittelija ymmärsi hienosti kummankin brändin tuotteiden käyttömahdollisuudet. Woodnotesin paperinarutuotteita on toki käytetty aiemminkin julkitiloissa, ja potentiaalia riittää laajalti. ”Paperinaru kestää hyvin tällaisessa käytössä. Jokainen Woodnotesin tuote tehdään kovilla laatustandardeilla Lapualla.”
