- Is paper yarn a durable material?
- The paper yarn used by Woodnotes is spun from a very long fibered and wet strong paper quality. This manufacturing process and raw material quarantee the paper yarn to be very durable and also applicable for public spaces.
- I spilled red wine on my carpet, how can I clean it?
- Any liquids spilled onto the carpet should be removed immediately with a piece of kitchen towel or white, absorbent, damp cotton terry towel. The affected area should be treated by tapping it with a damp sponge or towel. A drop of mild washing-up liquid can also be used. Do not rub. Rinse out by using a clean damp sponge or towel.
- How are the carpets / fabrics cleaned?
- Please look at the care instructions (www.woodnotes.fi/contact_service/care_instructions/) from the downloads section.
- Are Woodnotes carpets and furniture suitable for wet spaces?
- Woodnotes products tolerate moisture well, but are not suitable for actual wet spaces, such as bathrooms.
- How long does the soil-repellent treatment last? Can I redo it myself?
- The durability of the soil-repellent treatment varies depending on the usage of the carpet. We recommend redoing the treatment every one to two years on a cleaned surface (with eg. Soft Care Protection).
- Should I use a non-skid underlay under my carpet?
- We recommend the use of a non-skid underlay under the carpets, especially on slippery surfaces such as parquet or stone floor. A separate underlay holds the carpet in place, lengthens the life of the carpet and adds comfortability.
